As collectors for over a decade we decided to sell our autographs to fund our hobby, we have also become increasingly frustrated at the amount of forgeries on the market and in 2005 UrMyHero was formed to offer people the chance to purchase genuine signed memorabilia at reasonable prices with a legally binding Certificate of Authenticity to protect their investments.

In order to assure itself of the authenticity of all items purchased UrMyHero relies largely on obtaining its items either in person or from other reputable dealers who are members of the organisations below.

We are UACC members 8292 (Mr C Pickering)

We are members of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club (which is also known as the UACC) in good standing. This is an organization that has been serving collectors since 1965 and is recognised around the world.

As members, of the UACC, the UACC Code of Ethics binds UrMyHero to the following key rules:

• Members (meaning UrMyHero) must make every endeavour to authenticate all material bought and sold.
  
  
• Members are required to refund in full the purchase price of any item where the lack of authenticity can be proven and where proof of purchase is supplied. Requests for an extension of time to return items shall not be viewed as an acceptable reason for delay of payment.
